    Yes, I do. I provide both sessions. Studio sessions take place in my cozy studio space in Joondalup, and outdoor sessions are typically conducted during sunset in one of Perth's beautiful locations.
  • How far in advance should I book a Maternity session?
    Typically, my schedule fills up 3-5 months in advance. It's best to get in touch with me as soon as possible to secure your spot.
  • When is the best time to schedule a maternity session?
    Maternity sessions are usually best around the 32-36 week mark. However, sessions can be done at any stage of your pregnancy.
  • What if I missed booking a maternity session in advance?
    Don't worry! Even if you missed booking ahead of time, still reach out to me. There might be some flexibility in my schedule, and I'll do my best to accommodate you.
  • What should I/we wear and bring for the shoot?
    Before your session, we'll have a Planning Session where I'll provide guidance on wardrobe choices. I have a vast selection of stunning Maternity gowns and props available. For the best experience, I recommend visiting the studio to try some on.
  • Can you offer a special package that includes a Maternity & Newborn session?
    Yes, absolutely! My most popular package is called the "Bump to Baby." It includes both a Maternity and Newborn session, along with a $150 voucher for a Family Portraits session once your baby is between 6-12 months old. The Bump to Baby packages offer a $200 saving and are available in limited quantities. Don't hesitate to reach out today for more information!
  • Is there a preferred age for newborn sessions?
    Newborn sessions are typically scheduled within the first two weeks of life when babies are sleepier and more easily posed. However, sessions can still be scheduled up to six weeks after birth.
  • What happens if my baby arrives earlier or later than expected?
    If your baby arrives earlier or later than expected, please notify me as soon as possible. We'll work together to adjust the session date accordingly.
  • How long does a newborn session typically last?
    Newborn sessions usually last between 2-4 hours to allow enough time for feeding, soothing, and capturing those precious moments.
  • What safety measures do you take during newborn sessions?
    Ensuring the safety and comfort of your baby is paramount to me. I've received specialized training in newborn posing and handling techniques, guaranteeing a gentle and secure session. I prioritize your baby's preferences and will never coerce them into uncomfortable poses. All my sessions are guided by your baby's cues. Additionally, I maintain up-to-date vaccinations and renew my St John First Aid certification annually.
  • Do you provide props and outfits for the newborn session?
    Yes, I have a huge collection of props, wraps, blankets, and outfits available for use during the session. However, feel free to bring any special items or outfits you'd like to incorporate.
  • How far in advance should I schedule my newborn session?
    It's best to schedule your newborn session during your pregnancy, ideally in the second trimester. This ensures that we can secure a spot in my schedule around your due date.
  • Can family members be included in the newborn session?
    Absolutely! Family members are welcome to participate in the newborn session. Siblings, parents and even grandparents can join in for memorable family portraits.
  • How long does an outdoor family portrait session last?
    Outdoor family portrait sessions usually last between 1-2 hours, depending on the number of family members involved. This allows us ample time to capture a variety of poses and candid moments.
  • My young child tends to be shy or easily distracted. How do you handle this during the outdoor family portrait session?
    I completely understand that young children may feel shy or become easily distracted during photo sessions. I approach each session with patience and flexibility, allowing ample time for your child to feel comfortable in the environment. I use interactive techniques and games to keep them engaged and capture genuine expressions. Additionally, I encourage breaks as needed to ensure a positive experience for everyone involved. Rest assured, creating a relaxed and fun atmosphere is key to capturing beautiful portraits of your family, including your young children.
  • What happens if the weather is unfavourable on the scheduled session day?
    If the weather forecast predicts unfavourable conditions such as rain or strong winds, we can reschedule the session for another day at no additional cost. Safety and comfort are our top priorities during outdoor sessions.
  • Where do outdoor family portrait sessions take place?
    Outdoor family portrait sessions typically take place in scenic outdoor locations around Perth Metro, such as parks, gardens, beaches, or urban landscapes. We can discuss and choose a location that best suits your preferences and style.
  • What should we wear for our outdoor family portrait session?
    I recommend coordinating outfits with complementary colors and avoiding overly busy patterns or logos. Opt for comfortable clothing that reflects your family's style and personality. I'll provide guidance on wardrobe choices to ensure cohesive and visually appealing portraits.
  • What time of day is best for outdoor family portrait sessions?
    The best time for outdoor sessions is during the golden hour, which occurs 60-90 min before before sunset. The soft, flattering light during these times enhances the beauty of outdoor portraits.
  • Can pets be included in outdoor family portrait sessions?
    Yes, absolutely! Pets are considered family members too and are welcome to join the outdoor portrait session. Just let me know in advance so we can plan accordingly.
  • When do I need to pay?
    The session fee is due at the time of booking to secure your session date. You're not required to choose your package upfront, so I don’t ask for any further payment until you've viewed your gallery and placed your order during your selection appointment. This ensures that you have the opportunity to see the images and decide on your preferred products before making any additional payments.
  • How would you describe your style?
    I would describe my style as natural and authentic. While I do guide my clients with posing, I strive to capture genuine moments that reflect their true selves. In terms of editing, I favour bright and well-lit photographs infused with vibrant colours. I have a penchant for chasing the sun to create stunning imagery! :-)
  • How many images do you take?
    Well, I tend to capture quite a lot! However, you'll be presented with the best 40-50 images in your gallery to choose from. Each of these images is meticulously edited to the highest standard, ensuring that you receive stunning and timeless portraits to cherish for years to come.
  • How long will it be before I can see the pictures?
    Typically two weeks after the session we meet again for your gallery reveal, complimentary design consultation, and ordering appointment. We will enjoy viewing your images in a custom slideshow. Then I will help you narrow down your favourite portraits and guide you through the design and ordering of your preferred products. Only purchase those images you love! There is no minimum order fee.
  • What happens if it rains or someone gets sick?
    Things happen! We can always reschedule for another day. Rest assured, I have my studio available as a backup option.
  • Do you have Gift Vouchers available?
    Yes, indeed! I offer vouchers, which make for lovely gifts, especially for occasions like baby showers. It's also quite popular for workplaces, families, and groups of friends to contribute and purchase a special voucher together. I believe it's a fantastic gift idea. However, I do ask that you consider my photography style and pricing to ensure that your friend would be happy with what I provide. It's essential that the recipient would appreciate and benefit from the photography services offered.
