What should I/we wear and bring for the shoot?Before your session, we'll have a Planning Session where I'll provide guidance on wardrobe choices. I have a vast selection of stunning Maternity gowns and props available. For the best experience, I recommend visiting the studio to try some on.

Can you offer a special package that includes a Maternity & Newborn session?Yes, absolutely! My most popular package is called the "Bump to Baby." It includes both a Maternity and Newborn session, along with a $150 voucher for a Family Portraits session once your baby is between 6-12 months old. Is there a preferred age for newborn sessions?Newborn sessions are typically scheduled within the first two weeks of life when babies are sleepier and more easily posed. However, sessions can still be scheduled up to six weeks after birth.

What happens if my baby arrives earlier or later than expected?If your baby arrives earlier or later than expected, please notify me as soon as possible. We'll work together to adjust the session date accordingly.

Additionally, I maintain up-to-date vaccinations and renew my St John First Aid certification annually.

When do I need to pay?The session fee is due at the time of booking to secure your session date. You're not required to choose your package upfront, so I don’t ask for any further payment until you've viewed your gallery and placed your order during your selection appointment. This ensures that you have the opportunity to see the images and decide on your preferred products before making any additional payments.

How would you describe your style?I would describe my style as natural and authentic. While I do guide my clients with posing, I strive to capture genuine moments that reflect their true selves. In terms of editing, I favour bright and well-lit photographs infused with vibrant colours. I have a penchant for chasing the sun to create stunning imagery! :-)

How many images do you take?Well, I tend to capture quite a lot! However, you'll be presented with the best 40-50 images in your gallery to choose from. Each of these images is meticulously edited to the highest standard, ensuring that you receive stunning and timeless portraits to cherish for years to come.

How long will it be before I can see the pictures?Typically two weeks after the session we meet again for your gallery reveal, complimentary design consultation, and ordering appointment. We will enjoy viewing your images in a custom slideshow. Then I will help you narrow down your favourite portraits and guide you through the design and ordering of your preferred products. Only purchase those images you love! There is no minimum order fee.

Do you have Gift Vouchers available?Yes, indeed! I offer vouchers, which make for lovely gifts, especially for occasions like baby showers. It's also quite popular for workplaces, families, and groups of friends to contribute and purchase a special voucher together. I believe it's a fantastic gift idea. However, I do ask that you consider my photography style and pricing to ensure that your friend would be happy with what I provide. It's essential that the recipient would appreciate and benefit from the photography services offered.
